Who can enter?

​Students from any professional Make up School in Europe.

Make up Artists who have graduated from a professional Make up School in Europe and have been out of school for no more than two years

 

Please note this contest is focused on fashion and Beauty 

​

There are three stages of the I.A.M Awards:

1. ​​All Make up Artists fill out the Signup form and send their pdf portfolios and pay the administrative fee:                                                 Switzerland CHF 20.00 / Europe EUR 20.00.

2. The Lucerne judges will select 20 semi-finalists.  The chosen Make up Artists will take part in the Semi-final show in Lucerne.The semi Finalists will have to do 2 Looks on the day of the contest in the morning their Beauty look and their Creative look in the afternoon when the contestants are finished they will present their models on the Catwalk with their finished looks for Visitors and Judges to get a last look. 

3. The judges will choose 10 finalists that will attend the finals in Milan, Italy. 

 

Please note the Finalists in Milan will again be given two Looks to do for a new set of Judges.

The Winner and prizes will be awarded in Milan, Italy.

Beauty Make up - Retro Hollywood Glam

Rules

• 1 hour to complete the makeup on the day of the competition

• no full coverage foundations

• no stencils

• The hair and nails can be prepared before 

• Bodypainting is allowed but will not be given points

• An extra point will be given if the Costume compliments the look.

Creative Make up - Metaverse

Rules 

• 2 hours to complete the makeup on the day of the competition

• Only 20-25% Facepainting is allowed

• Mixed textures and mediums

• appliques

• The hair and nails can be prepared before 

• Bodypainting is allowed but will not be given points

• An extra point will be given if the Costume compliments to the look.

• Quality of Beauty Techniques 1-10 points

• Authenticity

• Relevance to the theme 1-10 points

• Use of color 1-10 points

• Skin complexion 1-10 points

• Entire look is 1-10 points
