Who can enter?

​Students from any professional Make up School in Europe.

Make up Artists who have graduated from a professional Make up School in Europe and have been out of school for no more than six years

 

Please note this contest is focused on fashion and Beauty 

​

There are three stages of the I.A.M Awards:

1. ​​All Make up Artists fill out the Signup form and send their pdf portfolios and pay the administrative fee:                    EUR 20.00.

2. The judges will select 20 semi-finalists. ( we will send them all the applicants portfolios )

3. 10 Semifinalists for Beauty make Up Category

4.  10 finalists in the Creative Make up Category

5.  The chosen Make up Artists will take part in the final show in Zürich Switzerland.

6. The 20 Finalists will have to do their Looks on the day of the contest in the morning the Beauty Make up Contest and the Creative Make up Contest in the afternoon when the contestants are finished they will present their models on the Catwalk with their finished looks for Visitors and Judges to get a last look. 

7. The judges will choose the winners in each Category

Beauty Make up - Couture Inspiration

​

Create a beauty look inspired by one of these three couture designers Zuhair Murad,Viktor & Rolf and Giambattista Valli with one of their iconic dresses. Let the elegance, intricate details, and signature glamour of his designs influence your makeup, hair, and overall styling. Transform couture into a stunning beauty statement.

Rules

• 1 hour to complete the makeup on the day of the competition

• no full coverage foundations

• no stencils

• The hair and nails can be prepared before 

• Bodypainting is allowed but will not be given points

• An extra point will be given if the Costume compliments the look.

Creative Make up - “What Inspires You”

​

For this personal and creative theme, draw inspiration from something meaningful to you. Create a character or a complete look that reflects what motivates, influences, or inspires you. Let your individuality shine through your design and storytelling.

Rules 

• 2 hours to complete the makeup on the day of the competition

• Only 20-25% Facepainting is allowed

• Mixed textures and mediums

• appliques

• The hair and nails can be prepared before 

• Bodypainting is allowed but will not be given points

• An extra point will be given if the Costume compliments to the look.

• Quality of Beauty Techniques 1-10 points

• Authenticity

• Relevance to the theme 1-10 points

• Use of color 1-10 points

• Skin complexion 1-10 points

• Entire look is 1-10 points
